Crypto-friendly Commissioner Quintenz isn’t leaving the CFTC this month
His statement in April that he would just remain “till the earlier of the verification of my follower or October 31, 2020,” triggered rather a stir amongst the crypto community.But now Quintenz states that he is remaining on past that October 31 end date. No one saw that tweet; as of publication it had just 2 retweets.In August, President Trump chose previous White House advisor Robert Benedict Bowes to change Quintenz, a fellow republican politician. Quintenz was chosen initially by President Obama in March of 2016 prior to being re-nominated by Trump in May 2017.
